Philippe Starck's designs for Alessi have steadily assumed the look and name of lively presences on the domestic front: the "Max le chinois" colander is no exception. This ironic object takes its place in the rituals of cooking. It's big, beautiful and expensive because of its aesthetics: but its design has a strong impact, which you can't say for any other colander.
Made from in 18/10 stainless steel with Brass casting on the Feet. The colander has a mirror polish finish on the outside and a matt finish on the inside. It also comes with a textured Black ABS internal lining.
